I hope you have wintered well and let’s hope we have the same summer as last year. As you probably know I have taken over the reins from Julian who did an excellent job. We now move on with the foundation that Julian laid, and this year with an even stronger coaching offering than last.

This year our Colt’s section has the addition of a new Director of Cricket who
will be pivotal in instilling the clubs core values. Adam Scher joins us with a
wealth of coaching knowledge that can only strengthen our existing highly
experienced coaching team, please make him welcome.

As Head coach he will be working with all age groups, holding master classes
and an Academy will be set up in June. Adam will be sending out our
coaching template for the first 4 weeks.

We have organised a Colts Registration morning on the 25th March 9:30 -12:00 - at the Club. Please do come along and meet the Coach’s and the Age Group Managers and we will try answer all your questions you may have and help you register your children.

We are always looking for volunteer’s, so please come forward if you can
help. We are short on Age Group Managers, so if you see your self as the next
Brendon McCullum that’s fine by us! If your skills are not cricket based, then it is ok we
also need help on the Admin side, registration needs to be completed at every
Colts night and help with team communication and scoring is also needed.

So if you can spare some time to help that would be great or if you want some
further information about the roles please let me know.
