I hereby give notice that an ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (A.G.M.) of Finchley C.C. (last one as Community Amateur Sports Club “CASC”) and (inaugural one as Charitable Incorporated Organisation “CIO”) will be held at the Club Pavilion, Arden Field, East End Rd, London N3 2TA on Sunday 07 December at 6pm to conduct the following business:

Part 1 agenda: last AGM as Community Amateur Sports Club “CASC”

a) Chairperson and Executive Committee (EC) members update – 2025 EC Priorities
b) Approval of minutes of Dec 2024 AGM
Minutes will be included in the meeting pack which will be distributed ahead of the meeting.
c) Finance and Accounts approval
To receive a report on the Club's finances (as CASC) from the Treasurer and to approve the Accounts for the financial year ending 31st October 2025.

Part 2 agenda: inaugural meeting as Charitable Incorporated Organisation “CIO”

a) New 150-year lease on Arden Field (without any additional premium) and subsequent transfer of all assets and liabilities from the CASC to the CIO.
The Club officials have now received a Heads of Terms agreement from the London Borough of Barnet under which the Council has agreed that FCC (CASC) will surrender the existing Lease on Arden Field, and the Council will enter a new 150-year Lease with FCC (CIO). The officials are currently discussing the terms and conditions of the new Lease. Once both the surrender of the old Lease and new Lease documents are duly signed, all of the assets, liabilities and activities of FCC (CASC) will be transferred to FCC (CIO) and FCC (CASC) will be wound-up in accordance with the agreement given by the members at the EGM on 05 July 2024.
b) Election of CIO Officers (in accordance with CIO constitution, club rules and byelaws)
There will be a ballot for election of 3 Cricket Committee positions from the following 6 nominations received.

2. Keerthi Ranasinghe
3. Kamran Akram
4. David Foskett
5. Matthew Walshe
6. Peter Yeates

Eligible Playing Members and the members of the 2025 Executive Committee can vote for the Cricket Committee positions. Please note that if you are unable to attend the meeting in person to vote, you will need to send your vote by email to finchleycc1832@gmail.com or post to 141 Wentworth Road, London NW11 0RJ by no later than midnight of 30 November 2025. I will acknowledge your vote as I receive it.

Please find the attached remainder list of nominations for the officers of the Club. There will be no ballot as the only nominations received were as listed below, those nominations are hereby elected to the positions indicated for the coming 12 months.

1. Honorary Treasurer: Mike Milton
2. Honorary Secretary: Amitav Borkakoty
3. Club Safeguarding Officer: Sohaib Farooq
4. Additional EC member (sponsorships, systems, training venue bookings): Romil Mehta

Mr Tony Mastel has been nominated and elected by the Executive Committee as President. At the first Executive Committee meeting after the AGM, the following appointments will be made by the elected members of the Executive Committee and the Trustees by a majority vote.

1. Chairperson
2. Junior Cricket Manager (age group managers are also eligible to vote)
3. Girls Cricket Manager
4. Ground Manager
5. Fixture Secretary

Additionally, the elected members of the Cricket Committee will appoint the captains of the First, Second, Third and Fourth Eleven teams at its first meeting after AGM.

This AGM notice is being emailed to the following eligible member groups who are eligible to vote on AGM matters (other than the election of the Cricket Committee members which is restricted to eligible playing members and Executive Committee members).
