I've known Eoin since he joined Middlesex County Cricket Club. I was one of the coaches at Middlesex and even at a young age, we all knew how far he was going to go. Eoin scored an impressive 174* against Stanmore in 2005 batting at number 3. His knock was unbelievable and no one could bowl to him. It's one of the best innings I have ever seen from such a talented player. Just remarkable.

It's has been a massive privilege and honour play with him at Finchley CC and my son is so lucky and honoured to shake hands with the World Cup winning Captain. Most importantly, Finchley CC are privileged to have a player like Eoin represent the club.

For Eoin Morgan to bring the World Cup trophy back to Finchley CC is a true honour and I wish him all the best for the future.
