Junior Cricket at Finchley CC (Boys & Girls) - Summer 2026

And we are really looking forward to seeing you all after a busy winter.
We get going on the evening of 

• Friday 10th April for Boys at Arden Field, and
• Thursday 16th April for Girls at Mill Hill Village CC

Our emphasis at Finchley is on inclusion and fun and we offer every level of
Junior cricket for boys and girls of all ages and abilities, from U6s-U19s, and all with a pathway into adult cricket. Throughout this age spectrum, we range from beginners to junior cricketers participating in County and London Schools squads

Please come and join us – not just for the cricket but to also enjoy our special family atmosphere. We encourage our junior cricketers to see the club as something of a second home, and we look forward to a season of cricket fun, development and friendship, and of course some great games and some wins!!

Outdoor Training, Practice and Family nights - Boys

• Outdoor Training Start Date - 10th April (Friday)
• Outdoor Training End Date - 17th July (Friday)

Training Times - Boys

• 4:30pm to 5:30pm every Friday for U6s-U8s
• 6:00pm to 8:00pm every Friday for U9s-U19s
• 6:00pm to 8:00pm every Monday (until 20th July) - Squad nights.

A select few players from U14s-19s who have been regularly attending Adults Winter training sessions will be invited on Thursday to train with Adults to help them transition to adult cricket. The Cricket Committee (Mike, Dave & Keerthi) will be in touch with those select parents/players separately.  

Outdoor Training, Practice and Family nights - Girls

• Outdoor Training Start Date - 16th April (Thursday)
• Outdoor Training End Date - 30th July (Thursday)

Training Times - Girls

• 6:00pm to 8:00pm every Monday for Older Age Group / Developed Hardball
• 6:00pm to 8:00pm every Thursdays - Younger Age Group / Introduction to Hardball

Squad Age Group practice nights starts - Boys

27th April (Monday) -  Development co-ordinated by age group squad managers. Our excellent coaching group are really looking forward to seeing you all.

Friday evenings will be family evenings, supported by good catering and our
bar offering – please do come along! And the bar will of course be open on
Monday evenings too.

This season, the club is putting out 12 Age group teams in Middlesex league
and Cup competitions. Alongside 4 Mill Hill Finches teams, which is our Girls only section. We have many fixtures to play. Details of these age
group squads to follow.

Registration/payment
For 2026 season, we will continue to use the same system as last year to take payments for subscription. Members can download the club app "Finchley Cricket Club" via Google/Apple play store.

Existing Players - Boys & Girls

1. Open Finchely Cricket Club app
2. Click on My Account (left hand top corner)
3. Login with the email used to register and password. If you don't remember, reset the password and login
4. Once logged in, Click on My Account -- and you will see "My Membership" as a listed option
5. Click on appropriate Junior product depending on your situation and click "Add to Order"
6. Once this is done, you will see the product added to the Basket on the top right hand corner of the app
7. Click on that Basket and make the payment using your Debit/Card card or from your existing balance on the account if you have any
8. You will get a confirmation screen to confirm that you payment is now done

New Juniors for 2026 Season - Boys & Girls

1. Download "Finchley Cricket Club" app from your play store
2. Once downloaded, Open the app
3. Click on the three dots on the left hand corner of the app - and click "My Account"
4. This will bring up the Customer Login screen
5. Click on Sign-up
6. Enter your Email address, Password, re-confirm password, First Name and Last Name and click Sign Up
7. Follow the onscreen instructions - it will ask you to click on a link at the bottom of the app to verify your account by sending an email to the email address you provided.
8. Go to your email - verify the account
9. Now, back on the app - and try to login and follow the instructions provided above for existing players to purchase the membership product.

For the 2026 season, the club has decided to keep the subscription amount to be the same as last year. This will help us cover all associated costs of coaching, training and match material, match balls and ground hire and preparation:

Match shirts will be provided to Junior players (fully paid up subs), thanks to our sponsors. Can I request you all to please submit the sizes using this Google form. If you have already submitted, the response, then you don't need to do it again.
